MAJPS Admission Information

The application deadline for priority consideration
for the 2013 cohort of the Spertus Master of Arts
in Jewish Professional Studies is May 17, 2013.

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete MAJPS Application and submit with nonrefundable application fee of $50.

Step 2: Submit Admissions Essay of 500 words, double-spaced.

Criteria for Admissions Essay

Part I: Include information about your educational background, work experience, personal and professional goals, and who you are.

Part II: Identify one challenging issue in contemporary Jewish life and offer reflections on how you would address it.

The essay must be clear and concise, indicating writing ability at the graduate level.

Step 3: Send official, original transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

Step 4: If applying for a Legacy Heritage Midcareer Fellowship, please complete the Fellowship Application and submit it with a professional recommendation.
