MAJPS Admission Information


July 30, 2015 is the deadline for Preferred Admission
to the Fall 2015 Chicago-area cohort.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1
Complete Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies (MAJPS) Application and submit with nonrefundable application fee of $50. A professional resume (uploaded into application) is also requested.

Step 2
Complete Admissions Essay of 500 words, double-spaced.

Criteria for Admissions Essay
The essay must be clear and concise, indicating writing ability at the graduate level. 

Part I
Include information about your educational background, work experience, personal and professional goals, and who you are. 

Part II
Identify one challenging issue in contemporary Jewish life and offer reflections on how you would address it.

Upload into application.

Step 3
Send official, original transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended. 

Submit application and resume electronically.
