The Asher Library at Spertus is open to all, Jews and non-Jews, students and scholars, local Chicagoans and out-of-town guests, and offers everyone the opportunity to experience the range and richness of Jewish religion and culture.
Borrowing privileges and online access are available to Spertus College students and Spertus members.
The Asher Library was established in the mid-1930s (and renamed in 1974 in honor of the generosity of Norman and Helen Asher). It is one of North America’s largest Jewish libraries.
