Among the students enrolled in Spertus Master of Science in Jewish Studies Distance Learning program you will find, for example: a teacher in Michigan, a Jewish communal service worker in Florida, a lawyer in Anchorage, a university administrator in Alabama, a veterinarian in Iowa, an English professor in North Carolina, a Catholic nun in Arizona, an administrative judge in New York, a retired car dealer in New Jersey, and a civil engineer in Venezuela.

Spertus students are a diverse group that:

  • include Jews and non-Jews
  • live in 36 different states and 7 foreign countries
  • range in age from their early 20s to their early 80s
  • come from a very broad scope of Jewish ideologies and backgrounds, and possess very different goals for personal and professional development
  • share a love of Jewish learning.
