Spertus Faculty
Stephen Morgan
Mr. Morgan is First Lieutenant in the Army JAG Corps (Reserve) as a Trial Defense Attorney. He has served as an attorney for Vantage Counsel, LLC in Northbrook, where he provided legal services to nonprofits, including formation, planning and litigation.
Mr. Morgan has also served as the Deputy Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity in Honolulu, Hawaii where he helped develop a 45-home subdivision for low-income native Hawaiians.
His professional honors include membership on the Jessup International Moot Court Team, 1st prize in the University of Hawaii Business Plan Competition and recipient of the Kauffman Entrepreneurial Grant. Mr. Morgan is a member of the American Bar Association, as well as bar associations for Illinois, Lake County and Chicago. His community activities include Volunteer Tutor at Midtown Educational Foundation and Speaker for Community Economic Development Law Project.
