Spertus Faculty
Nancy Wallace
Nancy Wallace is an Independent Financial and Accounting Consultant who assists nonprofit organizations with problem resolution, tax filing, audit preparations and analyzing current accounting practices. Ms. Wallace also serves as Adjunct Faculty at North Park University, teaching Nonprofit and Accounting courses.
Ms. Wallace previously worked as the Director of Finance for Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and Foundation, a national fraternity of over 150,000 members. Prior to that, she was the Treasurer and CFO for Shimer College.
Ms. Wallace became a CPA in 1987, earned a M.S. in Accountancy from DePaul University and a M.A. from St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, CPA's for the Public Interest, Illinois CPA Society Nonprofit Committee, panel reviewer for the Chicago City Arts Program, Board Member of YWCA Lake County and former Volunteer Chairperson for Illinois CPA’s Habitat for Humanity Committee.
