In honor of the 75th anniversary of the American Jewish Artists Club, this exhibition highlighted the development of modern art in Chicago and the significant role of Jewish artists in its conception and growth. Included work by abstract artists, social realists, and surrealists, including Aaron Bohrod, Mitchell Siporin, Emil Armin, William Schwartz, Fritzi Brod, and Leon Garland. Guest curated by Dr. David Sokol, past Chair of Art History Department, UIC, and currently, Director of Museum Studies, UIC, and President, American Culture Association.

Called "immediately satisfying and lastingly gratifying" by Chicago Tribune art critic Alan G. Artner.
