Jewish Community Networking Night 2017

Jewish Community Networking Night Chicago 2017
A Night of Networking and Celebration

On April 5, 2017, Spertus Institute, Spertus Institute hosted a lively event for those who work on behalf of the Jewish community. In spite of wind gusts and driving rain, representatives from more than 160 businesses and organizations came together to network with colleagues, celebrate innovation, and recognize those pursuing pathways to leadership. Kicking off the evening’s program, Spertus President and CEO Dr. Hal M. Lewis and JUF Chairman Michael Zaransky paid tribute to those in the room (and their colleagues across the Chicago region) for their commitment to strengthening the Jewish community.

This year’s featured speaker was Alexandra Levit, former career columnist for the Wall Street Journal. She shared research on building intergenerational teams to help ensure that the Jewish community taps the best talent — of every age.

This event was planned under the auspices of Spertus Institute’s Center for Jewish Leadership. Rooted in the belief that great Jewish communities need great leaders, the mission of the Center for Jewish Leadership is to transform Jewish life by cultivating innovative approaches to leadership and enhancing the abilities of Jewish communal professionals and volunteers. Applications are now being accepted for upcoming cohorts of several of the Center’s key programs:

We hope you will consider one of these opportunities as the next step for your own leadership development.

The Center for Jewish Leadership is supported by a generous grant
