I have previously written about the challenges the economy has posed for Spertus in recent years. I am extremely proud to announce that we have recently taken another dramatic step toward securing our financial future.
Meet Lisa Pearl Rosenbaum, author of A Day of Small Beginnings

You might say Lisa Pearl Rosenbaum has done it all. She was born and raised in New York, where she studied modern dance and choreography. She studied religion and philosophy at New York University and international relations at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and then worked at the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles before returning to school to study law.

Since he was a child, Elan Margulies always felt connected to nature and the outdoors. “I’ve always been inspired by nature,” he said. “My parents really encouraged my connection with the natural world and I pursued that into high school and college where I studied ecology and environmental sciences.”
