Application Period for Wexner Graduate and Field Fellowships Open

Applications for two types of Wexner Fellowships are now being accepted. Current and incoming students in the Spertus  Master of Arts in Jewish Studies and Certificate in Jewish Leadership programs may be eligible.

Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars Program
For incoming and first-year graduate students

Participating in the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars Program is a unique opportunity for entering or first-year students in graduate school programs designed to train Jewish professional leaders (rabbis, cantors, educators, academics, administrators, etc.).

In addition to financial assistance for graduate study, fellows become part of a diverse professional community that encourages learning though interactions with others with different points of view.  Fellows engage with expert faculty members in the fields of leadership education and
Jewish studies. Being part of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars Program extends well beyond the 4-year leadership program. Our extensive alumni network serves as a professional community throughout fellows’ careers.

To learn more about the eligibility requirements and awards, and to submit the eligibility form for the application for those in their first year of graduate school or applying for the 2014-2015 academic year, please visit the Wexner website >

Wexner Field Fellowship Program
For those working in Jewish organizations who are seeking professional development

The Wexner Field Fellowship Program is an opportunity for promising full-time Jewish communal professionals, without prior graduate training in Jewish communal work or  Jewish studies, who are seeking professional development. In partnership with the Jim Joseph Foundation, three Wexner Field Fellows will be accepted as part of incoming classes of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars Program. These individuals will receive financial reimbursement toward professional development, while also benefitting from the cohort learning experience of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars program.

Wexner Field Fellows become part of a diverse professional community that encourages learning about one’s self as a leader though interactions with others with different points of view, while also pursuing their own personal professional development plan. Being part of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars Program extends well beyond the 4-year leadership program.  Our extensive alumni network serves as a professional community throughout fellows’ careers.
