Michelle Ernst is a research scientist at the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago (NORC). Her work with NORC focuses on assessing and interviewing children. She has worked on a variety of projects including the New Immigrant Survey, the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, and the Multi-Site Evaluation of Foster Youth Programs. Prior to working at NORC, Dr. Ernst worked at Loyola University Chicago as a research assistant and statistics instructor and at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she led labs in Statistics and Research Methodology.
