Peter J. Haas
Peter J. Haas is Abba Hillel Silver Professor of Jewish Studies and Director of the Samuel Rosenthal Center for Judaic Studies at Case Western Reserve University. He taught for many years at Vanderbilt University, and has given courses in Judaism, Jewish ethics, the Holocaust, and Western religion, and has published several books and articles dealing with moral discourse and rabbinic literature. He currently serves as president of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East.
