Scott Aaron
Rabbi Scott Aaron is the community scholar at the Agency for Jewish Learning of Greater Pittsburgh and a doctoral candidate in the Philosophy of Education at Loyola University. In previous positions, he served as senior educator at the University of Chicago Hillel, taught at the Hebrew Seminary of the Deaf, was education director of the Brandeis-Bardin Institute in Simi Valley, and worked for Hillel chapters at New York University and Ohio State University.
In addition to teaching in the Spertus Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies program, he is a mentor for Spertus MAJPS Pittsburgh and Chicago cohorts, and coordinates the Pittsburgh cohort. He also serves as a consultant on curriculum and professional development for Jewish educational institutions around the country.
