Warner Abrams
Warner Abrams is executive vice president of Firman Community Services, Inc., a 140-year-old multifaceted Human Services agency aiding "at-risk" children and families. He has written federal, state, and city grants in excess of $20 million for the agency to fulfill its mission. Additionally, he has served as a proposal/grant reviewer for the Illinois State Board of Education and the City of Chicago's Department of Public Health.
Mr. Abrams has served on numerous Illinois nonprofit boards including the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health, Chicago Cable Access Network (CAN-TV), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Membership Committee. Additionally, he has volunteered on many fundraising efforts including Breast Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Hunger, Domestic Violence, Homelessness, and Maternal Child Health.
