Through archival footage and interviews, this clever documentary, skillfully produced by the Jewish Women’s Archive, pays tribute to the groundbreaking women—Molly Picon, Fanny Brice, Sophie Tucker, Joan Rivers, Gilda Radner, and Wendy Wasserstein—whose comedy defied cultural norms and made people all over the world laugh.
