This December 11, in partnership with Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA, Spertus proudly awarded the Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies degree to students from the program's Canadian cohort.

Sarah Atkins, Director of Informal Education for the Bronfman Israel Experience Center, spoke on behalf of her fellow graduates. Spertus President and CEO Dr. Hal M. Lewis gave the Keynote Address. At the ceremony, a Doctor of Humane Letters Honoris Causa was awarded to Barbara Bank.

In Canada, the MAJPS program serves professionals from prestigious organizations including the Birthright Israel Alumni Community, Bronfman Israel Experience Centre, Canada Israel Experience, Federation CJA, Hillel Canada, Hillel Montréal, Gen J of Montréal, Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA, Jewish Federation of Ottawa, March of the Living, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, UJA Community Connect, and Y Country Camp.
