Join us for the 16th Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Jerusalem Lecture, an annual program that commemorates Cardinal Bernardin’s 1995 visit to Israel and continues the dialogue he advocated between Jews and Catholics.
The 2011 Bernardin lecture was delivered by Dr. Moshe Halbertal, Gruss Professor at New York University School of Law and Professor of Jewish Thought and Philosophy at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Dr. Moshe Halbertal received his PhD from the Hebrew University. A prolific author, he is a recipient of the Bruno Award of the Rothschild Foundation and the Goldstein-Goren Award for Best Book in Jewish Thought for Between Torah and Wisdom. He is a member of the Israel’s National Academy for Sciences and the Humanities.
