Hilda Raz and Jehanne Dubrow of the prestigious national literary quarterly Prairie Schooner present poetry from a special issue that examines today's revived interest in yidishkayt, or Jewishness.

Irreverent and devout, modern and traditional, featured writers interpret yidishkayt though verse, through translations from Yiddish and Hebrew, and even through prose. Contributors include noted poets Ira Sadoff, Marge Piercy, Marilyn Hacker, Alicia Ostriker, Mark Halperin, Rodger Kamenetz, and Linda Pastan.
