Spertus Event Guidlines

The following guidelines are applicable to all events and meetings held at Spertus, hosted by outside individuals or organizations.
- Individuals and organizations are eligible to rent Spertus facilities for private functions with the exception of: demonstrations and political fundraising events where funds are raised for the purpose of funding an individual candidate.
- To confirm facility rental, a deposit in the amount of 25% of the rental fee and a fully signed facilities rental agreement are required. The deposit is nonrefundable. The balance of the rental fee is due six weeks prior to your event
- Spertus reserves the right to review all special event plans to ensure the event is compatible with the mission and purpose of the institution.
- Deliveries to Spertus must be coordinated through the Spertus Rental Events Manager.
- Spertus reserves the right to change any exhibition or the exhibition schedule.
- No food or drink is permitted in the galleries or theater. Smoking is prohibited inside the Spertus facility and within six feet of the front entrance.
- No photography is permitted in any galleries.
- All food and beverage needs will be serviced by Wolfgang Puck Catering. Food must be served in conjunction with alcohol service. Donated food or beverage is not permitted except under rare special circumstances arranged in advance.
- Kosher dietary laws observed.
