Since 1924, Spertus Institute has been dedicated to learning that is rich, rigorous, and deeply relevant to the issues that shape our world. Graduate and certificate programs serve adult learners from around the world, who benefit from our culture of innovation, flexibility, inclusivity, creativity, intellectual adventurousness, and academic excellence. Those who learn at Spertus spark change in communities around the world. Their work impacts every aspect of Jewish life.

Graduation Address

The graduation address will be delivered by Rebecca Minkus Lieberman, co-founder and executive director of Orot: Center for New Jewish Learning, a home for transformative Jewish learning and spiritual practice. A Jewish leader and educator for more than 25 years, Lieberman serves as the educational director of the Peaceful Parent Project. Like today’s graduates, she is also an adult student, studying in the Shalom Hartman Institute’s rabbinic ordination program.
