Presented by Spertus Institute and JPro Chicago, Connect & Learn is an online, community-building, professional development series.

Connect & Learn workshops offer participants around the world a chance to join Spertus students and alumni for lively sessions on topics key to Jewish professional life today.

Build skills you can apply immediately to your life and work. Become part of a network of learners and Jewish community leaders.

Sessions are online, live, interactive, and collaborative.

Each session includes time to connect, network, meet new colleagues, and strengthen relationships. Programs take place via Zoom. Ticket holders will receive login instructions by email 24 hours in advance.

Nonprofit innovator Megan Roth Abraham defines “philanthropy” as “love of humanity.” She believes this concept should permeate every nonprofit, creating a team where everyone — staff members, board members, trustees, and stakeholders — understands that fundraising is critical to organizational health and everyone has a role in the process. Learn to bring this “culture of abundance” to your organization, destigmatizing the role of fundraising in the process.

Nonprofit innovator Megan Roth Abraham leads this session.

Megan Roth Abraham is the inaugural CEO of the Goldie Initiative. She previously served as Chief Advancement Officer of JCC Chicago and her experience includes key roles at an impressive range of national and international associations and foundations. A former member of the Spertus Institute faculty, she has a MS in Public Service from DePaul University and a BA in Political Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
