Step 1: Prepare Your Application Materials

Your Resume

Professional resume with a summary of your employment experience.

Admissions Essay

Part I: Include information about your educational background, personal and professional goals, and your interests and values. Spertus is interested in the writing and presentation skills of our applicants. Therefore, the essay must be clear, concise, and persuasive. We are also interested in the needs and goals of our applicants, so please discuss what you hope to learn in our program as well as your plans for the future.
Part II: Identify one challenging issue in contemporary Jewish life and offer reflections on how you would address it.

Step 2: Complete Your Application

Complete and submit the application from the button below.

There is a $75 nonrefundable application fee. Pay by credit card within the form, or, if needed, by check sent under separate cover.

Within the form, upload your resume and admissions essay.

Step 3: Your Transcripts

Proof of your baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university is a requirement.

Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended, including those where no credit was received. Have official transcripts emailed or mailed directly from the institution to:

Step 4: References

Two letters of recommendation are required from individuals qualified to evaluate your academic achievement and potential for successful completion of the program. Have them submitted directly by email to Amie Barrish at abarrish@spertus.edu.

Step 5: Interview and Letter of Acceptance

Interview

Upon review of the application, qualified candidates will be contacted to set up an interview with a member or members of the admissions committee.

Letter of Acceptance

Upon acceptance, applicant will receive an official letter stating acceptance (or outlining any conditions of acceptance) with details about program schedule. Applicants can expect to be notified within approximately 30 days.
