Position Overview
Daily supervision and monitoring of teen boys in transitional living facility.

Organization Overview
Geneva is a transitional living program for teenage boys ages 17 – 20 in the Illinois Child Welfare system.  Our innovative therapeutic homes enhances Self Leadership, teaches Life Skills, and develops the support networks necessary for each of our participants to move from foster care into college or independent living.  We provide each youth with a comprehensive, culturally competent Support Plan within an intimate, normalized home setting.  Our Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy model and Self Leadership Training program serves as an interactive, safe, “hands-on” training environment allowing youth to practice newly acquired skills in the same manner a professional might complete an internship or practicum.  Our boys walk away with a unique opportunity to pursue their own life goals, and achieve their greatest dreams.


Workers are responsible for: teaching life skills (i.e., money management, cooking, personal health, employment preparation, community living, etc.)implementing individual and group therapeutic goals leadership & participation in planning and supervising recreational and leisure activities, maintaining accurate documentation and record-keeping, attending weekly staff meetings, monthly staff trainings and light household duties.


  • Bachelor's Degree plus one year of experience working with youth.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.  
  • Must have a working car and insurance.
