Every year, Spertus Institute hosts a gathering for the professionals and volunteers who serve Jewish Chicago.

The evening is an opportunity for you to network with colleagues and future partners from other organizations, celebrate successes, and learn new ways to excel.

This year's guest presenter is Deborah Grayson Riegel, an expert contributor to The New York Times, Huffington Post, Forbes, Fast Company, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and American Express OPEN Small Business Forum. Skilled in cognitive, behavioral, and social psychology, she has trained thousands of professionals to communicate with authenticity, clarity, creativity, and confidence.

Deborah Grayson RiegelDeborah Grayson Riegel started her career at 17, when she won the US Public Speaking Championship and was recruited to coach communications at colleges and corporations. She’s been honing this expertise ever since, even testing her mettle performing stand-up at New York City comedy clubs.

At the Beijing International MBA Program and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, she prepares leaders from around the world to communicate for a global marketplace. She sits on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Board and is the author of Tips of the Tongue and Oy Vey! Isn’t a Strategy: 25 Solutions for Personal and Professional Success

Winners of the Innovation and Collaboration Awards will also be announced, recognizing projects with creative concepts that reach across institutions to serve the greater Chicago Jewish community. Recipients of the Certificate in Jewish Leadership (a joint program of Spertus Institute and Nothwestern University) will be recognized.
