Tim O’Brien

Tim O’Brien


Tim O’Brien has served in a variety of leadership and consulting roles in both the business and nonprofit sector. His areas of expertise include financial management, strategic planning, and leadership.

As an educator, Dr. O'Brien has taught nonprofit management at North Park University, Saybrook Institute, JFK University, and Spertus Institute. He conducts training workshops internationally and was on the founding board of directors for Passionists International, a NGO at the United Nations.

Closer to home, Dr. O'Brien serves on the vestry and as treasurer at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Evanston and is director of The Academy of Church Leadership at North Park University, a newly formed initiative funded by the Lilly Endowment. The mission of the academy is to provide formal academic education and professional development programs for pastoral leaders in all areas of church administration and leadership.
