Bio

Rabbi Scott Aaron, PhD, is the Vice President for Community Outreach and Engagement at the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. Prior to assuming that position, Rabbi Aaron was the Associate Vice President for JUF Education, where he led the federation’s communal investments in congregational education, early childhood education, Israel education and educational research and evaluation. He is also currently an adjunct faculty member and professional development mentor for Spertus Institute’s MA in Jewish Professional Studies program.

Rabbi Aaron has served as adjunct faculty at The Ohio State University School of Law, Loyola University Chicago, the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Rabbi Aaron is a published author of books and academic journal articles and has been a project consultant to various foundations and agencies in the Jewish community.
