Bio
Rabbi Dr. Scott Aaron is Executive Director of the Community Foundation for Jewish Education of the Jewish United Fund of Chicago. In previous positions, he served as the community scholar at the Agency for Jewish Learning of Greater Pittsburgh, was a senior educator at the University of Chicago Hillel, taught at the Hebrew Seminary of the Deaf, was education director of the Brandeis-Bardin Institute in Simi Valley, and worked for Hillel chapters at New York University and The Ohio State University. In addition to his work as an educator, Rabbi Dr. Aaron serves as a consultant on curriculum and professional development for Jewish educational institutions around the country and has served as a mentor for Spertus Institute’s MA in Jewish Professional Studies program.
