Bio
Johannah Simon is a Senior Program Owner at Amazon, where she develops and enables front-line leader capability building and on-boarding for associates around the globe. Over the tenure of her 20-year career, Simon has held learning, HR, business transformation, operational, and regulatory leadership positions within technology and financial services companies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Charles Schwab, Discover Financial Services, and Zurich North America.
As a lifelong learner, Simon is a Certified Business Analyst, Certified Cloud Practitioner, Change Management Professional, and a Brinkerhoff Learning Journey Architect. Simon is also an MBA Adjunct Professor at Lewis University’s College of Business and an #IAmRemarkable Facilitator.
Outside of work, she enjoys writing creative nonfiction and flash fiction stories. Her work has been published in literary journals and placed in international writing competitions. She also has a passion for paper crafting and has presented a TEDx on the transformative power of scrapbooking.
